The Victorious Believer

  • 18.06.24

It is not an exaggeration to say that life is war. Life is a battle. Battles, whether spiritual or physical, need no invitation. They arrive anytime and anywhere. However, we must never forget that victory is our right and privilege in Christ. The Bible says: ??I Corinthians? ?15:57? ? But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Victory means triumph over the enemy in battle (2 Corinthians 2:14). It also means having an upper hand over an opponent or sitting on top of all unpleasant situations. This is our privilege in Christ Jesus. Yes, in Him, we have victory over sin (1 John 1:8-9; 3:7-9), sickness and disease (Mathew 4:23-24; 8:16-17), fear (Romans 8:15; 2 Timothy 1:7), barrenness and stagnation (Exodus 23:25-26; Deuteronomy 7:15) and poverty (2 Corinthians 8:9). Therefore, when faced with battles of life, remember past victories no matter how insignificant (1 Samuel 17:37); feed on God's word and speak it forth (Psalms 119:103); study the lives, principles and strategies of people of faith and follow their examples (Isaiah 51:1-2; Hebrews 6:10-14); engage in prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21); and hold on to God and fully obey Him (Hebrews 10:23, 35-39).

Your Prayer Today
