When the brothers of Joseph sold him to the Ishmaelites, they lied to their father that he had died. In reaction to this lie, which Jacob believed, he reacted thus: And he recognized it and said, “ It is my son’s tunic. A wild beast has devoured him. Without doubt Joseph is torn to pieces.” Then Jacob tore his clothes, put sackcloth on his waist, and mourned for his son many days.Genesis 37:33?-?34 NKJV By this lie, the man tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and mourned for many days.  Equally too, there are many people today that the devil has deceived into believing that they will amount to nothing in life. As a result, such people believe that they are good for nothing, have given up on themselves and consider themselves write offs that have no future. Can you imagine that Jacob lived a grieved life for Joseph because of someone's lie? Beloved, who is lying to you that you can never be married, rich, prosperous, promoted or do anything big in life? Never listen to such lies. The truth of the matter is that your Joseph is not dead. Yes, no matter what happens your dream shall come to pass. Your business shall blossom. Your marital life shall succeed in Jesus mighty name. For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease. Job 14:7 NKJV Beloved, there is hope for you that all will be well with you despite the present circumstances of your life. Don't listen to the devil's lies any more. Instead, hold on to the truth of God's word until your testimonies become a reality in Jesus mighty name.
