Holiness unto the Lord - Part 2

  • 02.05.25

God wants us to be holy just as He is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16). Christ Himself became sin so that we should become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). As such, His holiness demand is nothing farfetched, evasive, or unreasonable. Holiness has many products. These include: signs, wonders and miracles (Exodus 15:11); long life (Proverbs 11:19); peace and prosperity (Daniel 4:27); and anointing (Hebrews 1:9). There are several keys for holy living, one of which is genuine thirst for holiness (Mathew 5:6). You must have genuine thirst for the spirit of holiness. Stop merely wishing that you were holy, rather, take practical steps to sustain it in your life. The other key is total surrender to the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17). He is the spirit of liberty. True liberty from sin is not possible without His intervention. It takes the Holy Spirit to subdue unholy habits in our lives. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Beloved, allow the Holy Spirit to dissolve every yoke of sin and bad habits that have been tying you down in life. In this regard, it is pertinent that you take an oath of purity. Yes, take a vow for holiness today before sin sinks your life!
